The above link relates to Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD, also known as Attention Deficit Disorder), and concludes that the initial research findings that recommended medication, namely Ritalin, for children suffering from ADHD were premature. Subsequent research suggests that receiving therapy instead of medication is more beneficial in the longer term for these sufferers and their families.
